For example if scripting a chase, being able to add a column for position and sorting the script by the position could help keep things in the right order.

In addition, a filter in the Position field makes it easier to assign channels and cues, and ensures that the wrong channel is not assigned by mistake.

This would be great! Another use case I've seen suggested is to be able to sort the Channel column so it's easier to identify potential errors or duplicates on a channel-by-channel basis
