Ability to organize scripts in control panel
complete

On some theatrical jobs we may have 20 or more scripts. Currently they just show up in numerical order. The ability to group like-effects into columns or groups would be very useful. For example, if I have 10 cues of mine chases or mine walls, I'd like to be able to arrange them all in a column so that I can easily see where they are in the control panel and which ones I have fired already. Just seeing "script 1, Script 2, script 3, etc" is tough during a busy show. I'd like to be able to put all my mine walls in a column, all my comet chases in a column, or drag them around to suite the particular show. Maybe I put the stage left stuff on the left and the stage right stuff on the right, etc. When this feature is combined with the "ability to name scripts" feature, the control panel script window become extremely friendly.

I agree.

That's a step in the right direction. Being able to further organize them would be a huge leap forward. If we could put like-items into columns or move them left or right to help match the physical placement of the effects, that would be even better.

Hey Jim Acker. Right now you can use the quick fire screen to quickly press and fire scripts, which then change to red after fired giving you indication that the script was fired. What it doesn't allow you to do now is change the order. We are going to introduce a UI element that will allow you to change the order of the scripts in COBRA Control Panel Gen 2.

Jim Acker Thanks for the suggestion, I'm attaching a diagram that you sent in to support to illustrate what this could look like.
