Allowing dmx output directly from the 18r2 command center would eliminate the need for an extra 36m dmx module at the control table when aftermarket trancievers are used for sending recieving dmx. Having to use a 36m module to output dmx is an extra and unnecessary step and possible point of failure that could be eliminated with dmx direct output from the 18r2 command center.
