Add support for DMX ramp value / time to support fades.
Ideally where the event can set values for start, end, duration.
If at all possible a ramp profile/curve could be specified as well to control the interpolation (linear, smooth/quadratic and more) -- See this example for inspiration on potential curve types:

Just an update on this feature, it is being moved out of firmware 7.2.x, which is prepairing release, into an upcoming release. The other release is also under final code review. Look out for email communications on this in the coming weeks.

Currently animating light fades is very painful, results in low quality fades, and consumes a large number of events. So even basic ramp support would be a massive boon to anyone driving lights.
