Protector - Centronics 50 connector
Ernest Becker
Add a protective cover (or 3D print file for same) for the Centronics 50 connectors. The Centronics connectors were never designed for use in outdoor environments. As it stands, when not plugged in, these connectors are prone to damage and collecting debris & dirt. A simple, sturdy, slide-on plastic protector would help reduce this issue. The aftermarket sometimes offers thin 'dust covers' but they offer little in the way of protection from mechanical deformation of the thin sheet metal surround. Image shows easily deformed surround of Centronics 50 connector.

I’ll take any type of sturdy plastic cover to be offered by Cobra. It only makes sense.

Upvoted for this because I think it'd be nice to have a sort of user-written repository of things like this.
In this case, it might be a 3D print file for this - someone creates it (could be Cobra itself, could be one of our amazing community) and then it probably should either have some sort of community review (Where maybe trusted users must approve it or something like that) or staff review (but then Scott has to pay someone to review stuff)
Once approved, it would just live on the Cobra site for anyone to use as needed.
(for this specific request: What you describe is exactly why I use cobra, I don't use cables/slats at all - I know they are available, but wireless systems are amazing and I'm lucky enough to have enough modules to simply put a new mod instead of running cables if I need something spread out.)
