COBRA Feature Requests

I would really like to see support for the Czech language in Gen 2.

Newer tablets may have a taskbar showing up at the bottom of the screen in Control Panel which blocks the buttons there. While many can have the taskbar disabled, that disables it for the entire tablet, thus making navigation outside of the app a bit cumbersome. Having the app launch in an immersive mode which hides the taskbar would be very beneficial.

Currently the 18R2 will blink green if there is mixed continuity on the same channel, something like this for cues that aren't expected to have continuity based on the script that do have continuity (Alternating flashing red/green?) Might help catch wiring mistakes

Currently, COBRA Show Creator will automatically assign a cue number to events that you assign a channel to. If you were to utilize all 18 cues on a channel, COBRA Show Creator will increment through all 18 cues again starting at 1. This feature would allow users to let COBRA Show Creator assign cues to their events, and once all 18 cues on a channel are assigned. It would highlight the cell in red to alert the user that the specified event will be refiring a cue that was already assigned earlier in the show. This way users who like to let COBRA Show Creator assign cues won't need to worry about the same Channel and Cue combinations being used twice when this is enabled.

For those in the UK or Europe, when creating custom label templates, it is an extra step to have the dimensions you want for a label in mm, and then have to convert that to inches so that you can create or edit the label in Show Creator. I would like to have the option to choose the unit of measurement to use.

Currently, when a show is running, I see 8 lines of whatever has already fired, and 3 lines of what is about to fire. I’m not that interested in what has already fired. If anything, I’m much more curious about what is coming up. I’d rather have one or two lines of what already fired (“what was that?”) and dedicate the rest of the lines to what is coming up.
